Competitive consultancy on stadiums, golf courses and sport facilities

Establishing or renovating outdoor facilities like stadiums, golf courses and other sports facilities means intense investments. We provide an overview, so the builder can make informed decisions leading to the desired result – whether it’s a question of a turnkey contract on a golf course, or sub-contracting renovation of an older soccer field.

Playing fields – from elementary schools to “premier league”

Orbicon has been instrumental in ensuring that Danish super league teams can play year-round. We have been consultants on all of the nine fields with under soil heating systems that have been established for Danish super league teams in the past five years.

Apart from the Danish super league, many of our playing fields were established 30-40 years ago. In many cases a complete renovation or renewal is needed, and we provide consulting services when establishing new fields or expanding or renovating older facilities.

Top-quality artificial field turf

Artificial turf is a good alternative to natural turf. It has very high wearability, and is in use for up to 50 hours a week, year ‘round. The third generation of artificial fieldturf offers top quality, and FIFA has approved a number of types of artificial turf for international games. We execute projects on the implementation of both third-generation artificial fieldturf for professionals and second-generation fieldturf for school use.

Golf courses

Golfing is a rapidly developing sport, and more and more golf courses are appearing in the land-scape. Orbicon has solid experience with turnkey contracts, as technical consultant and as designers, in cooperation with a number of golf course architects.

Athletics stadiums

We design athletics tracks for schools as well as stadiums to national championship specifications, offering consultancy services on the establishment, expansion and renovation of all sizes of facili-ties.

Investing in the future
City populations are growing, putting more pressure on existing sports centres. This means an in-creasing need to renovate and expand existing facilities if we hope to continue maintaining good standards of public health and producing award-winning sports participants.
