 | | 22-02-2010 | | Bulgaria | | | | | | The project aimed to 1) develop the NATURA 2000 network in those regions that are not covered by other projects: Southwest and Northwest Bulgaria, and 2) coordinate the efforts of all the organization working on NATURA 2000 by creating a common NGO platform for exchanging information and reaching consensus and forming working groups for the problems concerning the network. The result of the project was especially public and easy access to up to date information on Natura 2000 in Bulgaria on the internet and through various public awareness materials. The project partners were the Centre for Environmental Information and Education in Bulgaria, Wageningen International and Orbicon.
