The aim of the contract is to provide scientific and technical support to the Nature and Biodiversity Unit of Directorate General Environment (DG ENV.B.2) enabling it to properly respond to requests for technical assessments of complaint cases relating to Natura 2000 sites in the 15 member states.
Upon request of the ENV.B.2 desk officer for each of the Member States concerned the consultant carries out analyses of relevant information provided by the complaints, by the Member State’s competent authorities or contained in any other relevant document.
