The focus of the alliance is on providing sustainable solutions in the field of land, water, environment and the provision of tailored services to the public and private sector.
NCG and Orbicon have joined the forces of social and natural science expertise to deliver advisory services which are integrated and holistic.
The two companies draw experience and references from decades of service provision worldwide, on different continents, in several languages, and for numerous bilateral and multilateral development agencies.
While the two companies represent two different business models for doing consultancy work – with Orbicon being a traditional consultancy company with some 320 employees, and NCG being a partner-based and owned company with some 30 partners and young professionals - both companies share common basic values in terms of company and staff culture, and business ethics.
The two companies will retain their business models and maintain their status as separate legal entities. The key point of departure for the alliance is that the two companies’ different structures and business models is part of the strength of the cooperation. The alliance will draw its strength from this continued diversity, exploiting the comparative advantages of the respective business models.
